Students can enrol in internships at UNSW in the following fields:
- Marketing
- Banking and Finance
- Social Science and Policy
- Media Studies
- Biological and Environmental Sciences
Students who would like to enrol in the internship program enrol in the Semester Program where the internship is weighted at 6UOC. This means that internship students need to be enrolled in a further 18UOC of coursework to make up the required full-time study load.
Placement and Assessment
Internship students are placed in a workplace for two full days each week, and also have additional academic contact hours with their supervisors. Students are assessed on workplace performance, a journal, a final research project, and an exit report. The internship will appear on the official UNSW transcript on completion of the semester's studies.
